"FLUTES" Song Collection
45-minute Mixed Ages classes include songs, rhythm chants, creative movement, and instrument play for children and the adults who love them. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance oriented musical experiences. They are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers regardless of their own musical ability. 2 CD's and an illustrated songbook of the current semester's materials are included in Mixed Ages classes. In addition, New Families receive an introductory DVD to the Music Together® program & philosophy and a Musical Growth Chart to help parents understand and track their child's musical milestones and everything in between!

Mixed Ages class (ages newborn to 5 yrs.) supports early childhood music development through singing, creative movement and instrumental play. Strong parent-child interaction enables each individual child's stage of development to flower within the larger community. During fall, winter and spring, the class materials for Mixed Ages Class are one of our nine song collections rotated over three years.
Babies Class (ages newborn to 8 months) is a fun, informative class for new parents. It is designed to nurture, treasure and develop your baby's musical world while supporting a parent's interactive discovery of it. Through music, movement and instrument play, the class explores developmentally appropriate musical stimulus, exercises and positions using the semester's music. Rhythmic and melodic development flourish is this relaxed, fun, informative setting and parents learn great ways to apply the experience at home. Class materials included include 2 CDs and an illustrated songbook from one of the two Music Together Babies Song Collections.
Music Together Guitar Class for Adults - 8 weeks. Open to parents and other caregivers of children enrolled in the FALL 2010 semester. Learn to play the guitar using Music Together spring semester songs as the vehicle. You will learrn to play 2 songs per week, guaranteed and share great ways to bring the music home! Complete beginners and experienced beginners are welcome. This has been a richly creative and wonderful experience for the parents involved in the 2009/2010 semesters of Guitar Class for Adults. You will need a guitar and guitar capo. Call Director 480-688-9597 for the upcoming fall schedule and suggestions on instruments and materials. Class length is one hour per week.
